About

A hundred years ofgetting it right.

Founded in 1926 as a co-operative of ribbon merchants off a country plaza, we now represent ninety-two Northern California houses under one roof.

Our standard

Four questions we ask of everything.

  1. 01. Is it made well?

By hand, or by a machine someone still cares about.

  2. 02. Will it last?

Repairable, refillable, or edible within the week.

  3. 03. Was it made near here?

Sonoma, Mendocino, the Sierra foothills, the bay.

  4. 04. Would we send it ourselves?

The only test that has never failed us.
